Iran's latest missile strikes on Israel kill 4, injure 87

Iran launched a fresh wave of missile strikes on Israel Monday, killing four people and injuring dozens more, according to Magen David Adom (MDA), Israel’s national emergency service.
In a statement, MDA confirmed that two men and two women, all around 70 years old, were killed in separate attacks at four different locations across central Israel. Emergency teams also evacuated 87 injured individuals to nearby hospitals.
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed responsibility for the attack, declaring it a success. “A new wave of attacks by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps enabled missiles to successfully and effectively hit targets in Israel,” read a statement carried by Iran’s official IRNA news agency.
The strikes caused damage to residential buildings in multiple cities, marking another sharp escalation in the ongoing conflict between the two countries.
This latest assault follows a cycle of retaliatory attacks between Iran and Israel, which has raised international concerns about the growing risk of a broader regional conflict.
