The Pentagon has awarded Boeing an $8.6 billion contract under the F-15 Israel Program to supply fighter jets for the Israeli Air Force, according to a statement released on Monday.
The contract covers the design, integration, testing, production and delivery of 25 new F-15IA aircraft, with an option to purchase an additional 25 jets. Work on the program will be carried out in the US state of Missouri and is scheduled for completion by December 31, 2035.
The announcement followed a meeting between US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Florida, where Netanyahu also held closed-door discussions with US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.
