Bangladesh remittance inflow rises 17.9%
Remittance earnings in Bangladesh posted a significant year-on-year rise of 17.9 percent in the first 20 days of September, reaching $1.903 billion, according to the latest figures released by Bangladesh Bank (BB) yesterday.
In the same period last year, the inflow stood at $1.614 billion, highlighting stronger contributions from expatriate workers this year.
From July through September 20 of the current 2025–26 fiscal year, Bangladesh received $6.803 billion in remittances, up from $5.752 billion in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year.
