US military strikes vessel in Eastern Pacific
The United States carried out a strike on a vessel suspected of involvement in narco-trafficking in the Eastern Pacific Ocean on Monday, the US Southern Command said.
According to SOUTHCOM, the operation was conducted in international waters under the direction of Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth after intelligence confirmed the vessel was traveling along known drug-trafficking routes.
The command said the strike resulted in the deaths of two suspected narco-terrorists, adding that no US military personnel were injured during the operation.
