Iran reports new Israeli strike on Fordo nuclear facility

Israel launched new airstrikes on the Fordo nuclear site, south of the Iranian capital Tehran, on Monday, Iranian media said.
“Moments ago the aggressor enemy attacked the Fordo nuclear site again,” said a spokesperson of Qom Province Crisis Management Headquarters.
The semi-official Tasnim news agency confirmed the attack on the site, without giving any details about the damage.
The strike came one day after US forces bombed three nuclear sites in Fordo, Natanz, and Isfahan.
Israel and Iran have been engaged in aerial combat since June 13 when Tel Aviv launched a surprise attack on several sites across Iran, including military and nuclear facilities, prompting Tehran to launch retaliatory strikes.
Israeli authorities said at least 25 people have been killed and hundreds injured since then in Iranian missile attacks.
Meanwhile, in Iran, at least 430 people have been killed and more than 3,500 wounded in the Israeli assault, according to the Iranian Health Ministry.
